The All New American Made Artisanal Initiative Inc. (ANAMAI)(Website: AllNewAmerican.com)(501(c)(3) status pending) grants are meant to act as a stepping stone to the next level, helping the maker, crafter, artisan move his/her work to the next business status.
ANAMAI has identified different types of grants that are of interest to its Board of Directors (BOD.)
ANAMAI’s grants are purely subjective and granted at the discretion of the BOD.
- Operating Support Grants assist the maker, crafter, artisan with a one time business changing administrative expense such as an upgrade to an existing website. This type of grant CANNOT be used for general operating expenses.
- Equipment Grants assist the artisan in the procurement of a much needed new piece of equipment in order to meet an increased demand of the artisan’s product. The increased demand has to be substantiated in the form of new orders, increased web activity etc…
- Crowd Funding Grants assist a maker, crafter, artisan with the costs of staging, video etc… in order to bring a new quality American Made product to market. The company needs to have been in business for three years and show that a Crowd Funding Grant would help elevate the company to the next level.
- Event Funding Grants assist the maker, crafter, artisan with the costs associated with participating in a wholesale event such as the NY NOW show or the Atlanta Gift Show. The assumption is that the maker, crafter, artisan is at a certain production level that can handle a wholesale market.
