I never thought I’d have a day so shit that I wouldn’t want to shake a drink to deal with my troubles like Ms. Swift instructed, ie Shake It Off. But alas, that day has come. So instead of just pouring myself a tall glass of the strongest stuff, I’m retreating to my favorite pour house here in Macon, Dovetail.
It’s the kind of place that the bar staff spends as much time cultivating the freshly picked farm products that make it from the ground to the glass as they do sharpening their skills behind the stick.

1.5 oz Colkegan Single Malt New Mexico Whiskey
0.5 oz Drambuie
0.25 oz Cynar
handful of Farm Fresh Blueberries
~Add all to a shaking tin
~Shake with ice
~Double strain into a sipping dram
~Garnish with fresh oregano & enjoy
